About this notice

This notice explains how Ownelivo handles information in its native iOS app and on this website.

Data stored on your device

Your item details, purchase prices, serial numbers, photos, receipts, warranty dates, care plans and care history are stored in the app on your device. The native library does not require an account and is not uploaded to our servers.

Photos, backups and reminders

The system photo picker gives the app only the images you select. Selected photos are copied into the local library. Backups contain your library and images; they leave the app only when you export, share or save them to a destination you choose. Care and warranty notifications are scheduled locally after you grant permission. You can turn them off in the app or iOS Settings.

Optional invitation services

When you submit an invitation code, or restore a previously linked invitation, the app sends the code where relevant, an app identifier, a randomly generated device identifier and the iOS platform to the invitation service. Separate invitation receipt and validation requests may include a random reporting device identifier, app version, language, platform and app channel, plus the submitted code for validation. These requests support activation, restoring access, recording invitation use and protecting the service. They do not include your item library or receipts. The reporting identifier is stored in the iOS Keychain and may survive reinstallation.

Clipboard and linked pages

The app checks whether text is available on the clipboard to offer a paste control. It reads the text only when you use Paste. A linked invitation can open an online page in an embedded browser. Those pages may process cookies, account information or information you enter there; review the policy shown by the page before using its services. External sites opened from the app have their own privacy practices.

Advertising and tracking

The native app contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell your personal information or use your native app records for cross-app advertising tracking.

Website requests and service providers

When you visit our website or use an online service, Cloudflare and the relevant hosting or invitation service process network information such as your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser or app headers and response status to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the service. Cloudflare may process this information in different countries. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not embed advertising or analytics scripts in these information pages.

Retention and your choices

Local records remain on your device until you remove them or delete the app. Operating system device backups may include app data according to your settings. Exported files and copies you share remain in the destinations you choose and must be deleted separately. Online service records are retained for the period needed to provide access, maintain security, handle support and meet applicable obligations. Deleting the app does not automatically delete service records or Keychain identifiers. Contact the developer to ask about access, correction or deletion of information held by us; we may need enough information to identify the relevant record. Do not send passwords, payment details or invitation secrets in a support message.

Support correspondence

If you email the developer, your email address, message and any attachments are processed to respond to your request. Please avoid including private item records, receipts or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for support.

Security and international processing

The app stores its library inside the iOS app sandbox and online service requests use HTTPS. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Website, online service and email providers may process information outside your country. Where applicable, you may exercise privacy rights or contact your local data protection authority.

Children and policy changes

This app is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to the developer, contact us. We may update this notice when the app or its data practices change; the effective date will be revised.
